A user-friendly annotation tool to label in a snap!

We built our annotation tool around the idea of having a tool that is simple, easy to use, with a user-friendly experience.

There are no fancy features. There are only useful features that make your annotation work more efficiently!

Below are the different options & features to help you annotate:

  2. Go back to the annotator interface home page

  3. Task and project Information
  4. Helps you understand which task or project you are working on.

  5. Guidelines
  6. You can upload within the ‘Project Section’ section the guidelines in PDF format and display them in the tool.

  7. Parameters
  8. Parameters can vary in function of the project type

  9. Keyboad shortcuts
    1. There are a few shortcuts that will help you to speed up your annotation process and save time:

    2. Adjust lightness
    3. Navigate through objects
    4. Navigate through objects (inverse)
    5. Switch mode
    6. Validate shape (close the annotation)
    7. Remove the last point
    8. Cancel shape
  10. Task name
  11. Name of the task

  12. Last annotation
  13. Once you have completed an annotation and attributed a label to the annotation, you will find here the last annotation with the different labels selected. If you click on it, it will automatically switch to edit mode and you will be able to modify it.

  14. Undo / Redo
  15. You can navigate through the history of your actions, which means undo et redo labels & annotations.

  16. Hide / Show annotations
  17. Toggle the opacity of the annotations to make a quick show / hide of all annotations

  18. Fullscreen
  19. As soon as you plan to go through a session of annotation, use the full-screen to make it more comfortable.

  20. Zoom + / -
  21. We have developed a zoom function to zoom up to x 42 to spot all the details and annotate at the pixel level.

  22. Mode
    1. They are 3 different modes:

    2. Annotate: to create new annotations
    3. Edit: to edit existing annotation (redraw, adjust, modify labels...)
    4. Lock: only for segmentation, to lock existing annotation to faster annotation around an existing annotation.
  23. Save as draft
  24. Save your work as a draft to prevent data loss in case of crash or network issue

  25. Validate and go to next task
  26. Submit & save your task once it’s completed and move to the next one.

  27. Skip the task
  28. Edit
  29. In addition to the Edit Mode, you can also edit the annotation straight from the list of annotations.

  30. Hide / Show
  31. Hide the annotation of your choice if there are some overlaps to make it easy to annotate.

  32. Delete
  33. You can delete any annotation from the list by clicking on this button.
